In August of 1999 restoration and construction was completed and the fifth floor of the historic Bullocks Wilshire building was reopened to the public. The primary rooms include the Elevator Lobby, Cactus Lounge, Tea Room, Salle Modern, cafeteria, kitchen, and new internal exit stair restored to its 1929 elegance. These rooms will serve the law school with a dining area for students, faculty and staff; executive offices, reception, private dining, and seminar rooms. The adaptive reuse of these rooms included upgrades of restroom facilities, mechanical, fire and life safety, and audio visual accommodations.
